The Green Shed celebrates its first birthday
Added on 31 October 2011
Hundreds of bags of kindling, two giant knitting needles and lots of recycled nails - these have been the ingredients for a successful first year at The Green Shed recycling project based at Castle Gardens in Sherborne.
Almost 100 people from Sherborne and the surrounding area turned out to celebrate with The Green Shed team. Guests enjoyed speeches from Mike Burks, MD of Castle Gardens; Barry Watts who helps run The Green Shed and Christine Stevens who is chairperson for the steering group. A huge birthday cake, canapés, and Pimms made the party even jollier.
