For the first time, The Engine Room Restaurant at Poundbury Gardens in Dorchester will be transformed into a catwalk as the team hosts a FUNdraising Fashion Show in aid of the Weldmar Hospicecare Trust.
Tickets to the event, which will take place on Thursday 15th November from 6.30pm, are now on sale and all proceeds will be donated to the Weldmar Hospicecare Trust, an independent charity providing specialist palliative care to people in north, south and west Dorset.
James Foster-Pegg, director at Poundbury Gardens comments: "We've recently added an Orangery to our restaurant and have also extended the range of outdoor and countryside clothing we now stock. We thought what better way to show off the new collection than with a fashion show and raise money for a worthwhile local cause at the same time. We are all firm supporters of Weldmar and hope that this event will raise a significant amount for the Charity's work in Dorset."
During the evening, country inspired clothes will be 'modelled' by the team from The Gardens Group and by staff and volunteers from Weldmar Hospicecare Trust - brands such as Joules, Jack Murphy and Hunter will be worn by the 'models' who may need a certain amount of encouragement. There will be refreshments, a charity raffle and guests can expect a few surprises as some of the gardening team have a few surprises up their sleeves!
Tickets are available in advance from Poundbury Gardens, Peverell Avenue, Poundbury DT1 3RT, The Weldmar Hospicecare Trust on telephone 01305 261800 and on the door on the night.
