On Thursday 15th July, the first Dorset Wildlife Friendly Gardening Competition awards ceremony took place with over 100 gardeners from the County hearing the results. Butterfly expert, Clive Farrell, talked about his work to preserve and protect wildlife habitats and a raffle was held to raise money for the Butterfly Conservation Society. Prizes of vouchers, books and wildlife boxes and food, were presented to the gardeners of the winning Wildlife Friendly Gardens.
