Since opening for business in 1987, The Gardens Group has collected many awards for everything from service to community support; food sourcing and catering; wildlife projects and green initiatives. Click on the links below to view the awards.

We are members of the Garden Centre Association (GCA), a group of independently owned garden centres around the country.  Each individual centre is audited annually to ensure a consistent high level of standards and service.

Part of the work of the of the GCA is to run an annual Christmas Competition for the best festive displays and every year since 2004 all of our Garden Centres have been judged in the top three – Castle Gardens has been voted best in the UK for its Christmas display three years out of four.   You can see examples of the wonderful displays on our Christmas page.

Our members of staff have continuous training to ensure we have the latest knowledge and expertise to offer our customers.  Many members of our team have received awards through the RHS Retail Award Scheme and NVQ Retail Awards which are part of our on-going training programme. This keeps us up-to-date with the latest developments in the industry and continually grows our plant knowledge.
